Purpose
The banner displayed at the bottom of each email allows users to report the nature of a message in order to improve email filtering quality and enhance mail security.
Through this banner, each user can actively contribute to:
Continuous improvement of message filtering.
Faster detection of security threats.
Personalization of their mailbox (VIP / Personal categories).
How It Works
A banner similar to the one below appears at the bottom of every email:
Each button corresponds to a specific action described below.
Security Reporting
🟤 Spam
Reports the message as unsolicited or unwanted email.
The sender is added to your personal blacklist.
The message is submitted to the technical teams for analysis and filtering improvements.
🔴 Threat / Virus
Reports the message as potentially malicious or infected.
The sender is immediately added to your personal blacklist.
The message is forwarded to the security team for in-depth investigation, improvement of the detection engine, and blacklisting if necessary.
Filtering Improvement
🔵 Advertisement
Reports the message as advertising content.
The email is analyzed by the technical teams to improve automatic advertisement classification.
Helps refine the accuracy of advertising detection.
🔵 Newsletter
Reports the message as a newsletter or recurring communication.
The email is analyzed by the technical teams to improve automatic newsletter classification.
Helps enhance the detection and categorization of newsletter content.
User Personalization
🟢 VIP
Adds the sender to the user's VIP list.
Future messages from this sender will be highlighted in the inbox.
🟢 Personal
Adds the sender to the user's Personal list.
Future emails from this sender will automatically be categorized as Personal.
