Managing blocked messages

Option 1: Actions via the email report

 As a user, you have the ability to act directly on messages that have been blocked or placed on hold before reaching your inbox. These actions are accessible from the security report you receive by email, according to the frequency defined by your administrator. This report summarizes two categories of messages: emails detected as spam and blocked accordingly, as well as messages pending Humail authentication. It allows you to stay in control of your communications, without having to contact your administrator for every situation.  


  • For messages blocked in quarantine:
    • Preview a message and choose to receive or delete it
    • Release a legitimate message to deliver it to your inbox
    • Permanently delete an unwanted message
    • Add the sender to the whitelist to prevent future blocks
    • Add the sender to the blacklist to permanently block their messages
  • For messages held for HUMail validation (captcha):
    • Preview: View the message content before taking any action
    • Release: Deliver the message to your mailbox
    • Release & certify: Deliver the message and add the sender to your HUMail certified list
    • Delete: Permanently delete the message

Option 2: Additional actions via your My e-securemail space

Via your personal console, you can:

  • View all your quarantined messages from the last 30 days
  • Configure your lists (whitelist, blacklist, HUMail certified, VIP, Personal)
  • Set up your custom signature
  • Perform detailed searches within your lists
