This section allows domain users to receive a daily security report for messages that have been held or quarantined.
You can access from the e-securemail interface in Configuration => Quarantine subscription :
Click here for more details on managing the quarantine subscription.
After the configuration of filtering rules and the management of white and black lists, this is the third way to customise the configuration of your email filtering system:
Define which of your users and when they will receive their Interactive Quarantine Report.
Every day you receive a large flow of messages.
Our systems act in real time to provide you with optimal filtering. It protects you from various threats such as SPAM, viruses and malformed e-mails.
It can also filter out messages that are too large or have prohibited content (video, executable, archives, etc.).
You can set our systems to stop these messages. However, sometimes it may be an email that you still want to receive.
The quarantine area allows the retrieval of e-mails that have been blocked in the last 30 days. The user can consult it via the quarantine report sent by our system to his e-mail address or via the individual CIM e-mail console
You will need to be subscribed to the quarantine of the desired account in order to receive it
Different types of quarantine :
Depending on the settings, a quarantine can contain different types of messages:
- SPAM (SPAM.A, scan spam)
- Non-compliant (or malformed)
- Too large sizes
- Prohibited content
- Retained by Humail
In order to avoid an exhaustive quarantine, containing too many items, it is important to configure your domain rules properly.
Safety report :
In each report you will find a table containing all quarantined messages according to the security settings defined by the administrator.
If, for example, the user is not present or if the email client does not support the report format, a link is provided to the individual quarantine for the last 30 days or to access the report online from the individual email console.
In order to make relevant releases, the quarantine report received by the user contains several pieces of information about the blocked email address:
- The sender address (forged by the sending SMTP server)
- The subject of the e-mail
- The date of receipt of the email
- The verdict (reason for quarantine), and the score given by the anti-spam.
Here is a screenshot of a message report sent to the user.

Some emails may end up in quarantine despite a low or negative score, when they meet the quarantine criteria defined in the filtering configuration such as, for example, the detection of an attachment or a size that is too large.
