DKIM

DKIM compliance indicator :

On the home page of your administration console, you will find a real-time indicator of the domain's DNS information.

The following are different audit reports:
The generated public key is in place, the messages are correctly signed

The public key used is not Secuserve's
No key has been entered for the domain name

How to add a DKIM record :

Preamble :

Presentation Anti-spam policies are becoming increasingly strict. In order to ensure that your emails are sent smoothly and that your recipients receive them without being blocked by security tools, settings are required to authenticate your messages and validate their content.

The purpose of the DKIM protocol is not only to prove that the domain name has not been spoofed, but that the message has not been altered during transmission. The protocol is based on a cryptographic procedure, with a public key published in the DNS zone of the sending domain, and a private key, used to encode the message.

It allows a signature to be added to the header (where all the characteristics of the message are located) of each message sent. Usually the key comes from the mail server. We suggest that you set it up as part of our outgoing relay service, in particular with the use of advanced communication functions (Unisign, legal notices, etc.)

How to set up DKIM authentication?

This authentication is done by a DKIM key to be added in your DNS zone.

You will generate from the "DKIM" interface a private key and a public key for your domain.

The interface will then display the record to be inserted.

1. Log in to the administration console using your login at: https://www.security-mail.net/

2. Navigate to the tab =>Administration => "Delivery/SMTP" and click on "DKIM" on your left

3. Enable DKIM functionality Check the "Enabled" box Note: Make sure your DNS zone is up to date before proceeding with the activation.

Limit connections to your mail server

The way e-mail protocols work on the Internet, you cannot be sure that, by simply changing the MX records, you will only receive messages from our servers on your server.

In order to ensure that you only receive secure messages, we recommend that you limit the arrival of emails from the Email Filtering Service servers. This will further secure your mail server by making it invisible to the outside world. Do not hesitate to contact the Email Filtering Service support team or your reseller to validate the IP addresses to be mentioned.

You can implement this limitation in your corporate firewall by setting up security rules that only allow Email Filtering Service servers to correspond with your SMTP server.
