What does LDAP/AD synchronization do?

Presentation

The LDAP protocol defines the method of accessing data on the server at the client level, not the way in which the information is stored.

LDAP synchronisation allows you to quickly enter and update a large amount of information that already exists in your LDAP/AD directory on our administration console.

  • What does LDAP/AD synchronisation do?

LDAP/AD synchronisation" provides the ability to retrieve and enter information:

  • Synchronisation of domain addresses and aliases
  • Enter a signature (Unisign) (Name, first name, address, phone, fax, etc...)
  • Address subscriptions to the quarantine
  • Synchronisation of members of a filtering group*.

*Requires the creation of an attribute in your directory (click here for more details) Attribute of a filter group (security policy/profile)
