  • Server: Address of your ldap/ad server (the above example xxx.xxx.xxx.xx is an ip address)
  • If ldaps://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx :636
  • The DN is the identifier of an LDAP entry. It is a path in the directory tree.
  • If there is a domain alias, it must be separated by commas
  • Directory password

Asterisks (*) indicate that the field is mandatory

Connection test

The green dot indicates that the connection to your phone book is successful.

The red dot indicates a failed connection with your yearbook.

If unsuccessful :

Make sure that you have entered the data correctly, including

  • Port opening (389 or 636)
  • Identifier
  • Password

LDAP filtering

Fill in the information of your directory in order to obtain the corresponding data (filters, recursive...).

Then select the mapped items you wish to synchronise and save your configuration.

Please note that entries must be made without spaces after commas.

  • DN base
  • Filter : Allows you to target contacts in your directory for example (mail=*@example.com)
  • Attributes for example (mail,cn,sn,title) mail is mandatory in the attribute matching field
  • Mail: Important! Allows you to identify your contacts
  • Alias: Refers to the directory data corresponding to the aliases of a mailbox
  • Full name: Common name

Note: If the Base DN field is empty, the Base entry in "LDAP Configuration" will be automatically retrieved.

For each change you make, save your configuration so that you do not have to re-enter it.
