Presentation
Since 8 August 2016 and the Labour Law, a right to disconnect has been present in the Labour Code. This measure aims to ensure respect for rest and holiday time as well as the balance between the employee's professional life and personal and family life.
This means that when messages are received outside the activity hours defined by the administrator, a banner is added informing the user of his right to disconnect.
Access to the Right to Disconnect configuration
The configuration of the Right to Disconnect is accessible via the menu Filtering > Advanced Communication > Right to Disconnect
Configuration
The configuration page provides the following options:
- Activation: If checked, enables the Right to Disconnect. If unchecked, no changes will be made to the messages received regardless of the time slot.
- Tag: Allows you to add a tag to the subject of the email received outside the defined activity ranges. This addition is cancelled if the value is empty. Default value: DAD
- Content: Allows you to customise (Custom) or recover (Default) the default banner.
- Position: Allows you to choose the position of the banner in the message. At the top or bottom of the e-mail body.
- Banner input box: Allows you to edit and view the banner using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) tool:
- Activity time slots: Allows you to define the company's activity time slots during which the banner is not added to incoming mail. The modified messages are those received outside of these time slots. By default, the time slots defined are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
It is possible
to add a new time slot by defining the day (or period), the start time and the
end time and then clicking on Validate :
You can
either drag the sliders or enter the time slot directly using the keyboard
It is possible to delete a time slot or to reset it to zero (default time slots) by clicking on the red crosses:
The changes are applied by clicking on the "Validate" button at the bottom of the page.
