Legal disclaimers are automatic disclaimers added at the bottom of a post. These notices can be added :
On incoming messages (e.g. legal obligation to protect employees)
On outgoing messages (reminder of the company's confidentiality rules, promotions, events, moving, etc.).
The legal notices for messaging allow texts to be automatically inserted at the end of each message without the user being able to intervene. The objective is to legally protect the company against risks linked to the content of the messages or more simply to provide certain information to your users' contacts.
A different message can be set as input (to employees) or output (to company contacts).
Legal notices can only be defined at domain level and for all users of the service.
Setting up the Legal Notice
The
interface for setting up the legal notices is divided into two parts, allowing
the definition of incoming and/or outgoing messages.
For each of the two parts, it is
possible to define the type of action:
- No disclaimer: no legal notice will be added
- Default Disclaimer: adds the default legal notice
- Customized Disclaimer: adds the legal notice which can be configured in the "Edit" frame. The message to be inserted must be entered in text or HTML format. A rendering is displayed instantly in the "Rendering" frame.
The Legal Notice can be entered either in text or in HTML.
The system will automatically generate a Legal Notice in both formats (if you create a Legal Notice in HTML, the system generates its equivalent in text). Thus, depending on the format of the user's message, the corresponding legal notice is added.
