Creating and Configuring a Program
This guide explains step by step how to create a new program and configure it in PhishingCoach.
Accessing Programs
From the dashboard, select the relevant company, then navigate to the Programs section in the navigation menu.
Step 1 — Create a New Program
Click the New button at the top of the page to start creating a program.
Step 2 — Choose a Program
A list of available programs is displayed. Select the desired program by clicking the corresponding + icon.
To view the full list of programs and choose the one that best fits your needs, refer to our guide: Which PhishingCoach Program Should You Choose?
Example: By selecting Phishing Simulation – Email, you launch a phishing simulation that runs over a 30-day period.
Step 3 — Access Program Editing
Once the program has been created, you are automatically redirected to the list of programs. Locate the campaign you have just created and click Edit to configure it.
Step 4 — Configure the Simulation
Enter the following information to configure your simulation:
Simulation Name
Give your simulation a clear and descriptive name so that it can be easily identified later.
Example: Email Simulation – Marketing Team – March 2026
Campaign
Leave the default campaign selected. A campaign is automatically generated when the program is created.
Example: Campaign-202603-1
Employee Group
Select the employee group that will participate in the simulation. Employee groups are managed in the employee administration section.
Exercise
Choose the phishing exercise that will be used for this simulation (the fraudulent email template that will be sent to employees).
Time Zone
Select the time zone corresponding to the location of the targeted employees to ensure emails are sent at appropriate times.
Email Delivery Start Date
Define the date on which simulation emails will begin to be sent.
Email Delivery End Date
Define the final date for sending simulation emails. Email deliveries will be distributed randomly between the start date and the end date.
Delivery Time Window
Specify the desired sending time range.
Example: Starting from 09:31 AM.
If no end time is specified, email deliveries will not be restricted to a specific time window.
Once all fields have been completed, save your configuration. Your simulation is now ready to be launched.
