Google Suite

Set up the e-securemail MX servers

In order to route the incoming flow to our e-securemail gateways, fill in the MX at the registrar of the domain name.

Next, make sure the information is synchronized in your Google Admin portal. By going to Applications=>Google Workspace=>Settings for Gmail=>Configuration

Whitelisting e-securemail servers

We now need to access your Google account administration page: https://admin.google.com and then select : Applications > Gsuite > Gmail Settings > Advanced Settings.

To start with, you need to give the addresses of the Altospam servers in the "Mail Whitelist". Indicate the previously determined IPs in numerical form, separated by commas (For example: "1.2.3.4,192.168.0.1").

Outbound gateway configuration

Next, access the Outbound Gateway Configuration menu by clicking the "Configure" button.
Applications =>Google Workspace =>Settings for Gmail =>Hosts

In the menu that opens, you will have to indicate a name for the gateway "ESM Sortie" and then fill in the host name to which you will point the flow. Contact our support team so that they can inform you of the host name to be entered.

Please also ensure that you tick the boxes indicated:

  • Require that messages be transmitted over a secure connection
  • Require a certificate signed by a certification authority (recommended)
  • Validate the host name of the certificate (recommended)

These settings increase the overall security of your mail server.

Once this configuration is complete, you must validate the changes by clicking on "Add a parameter".

Finally, you return to the "Advanced settings" page, you must again validate the configuration by clicking on "Save" at the bottom of the page.

Details of the options and their effects are explained in the Gsuite documentation, available at: https://support.google.com/a/answer/60730?hl=fr
