Allow the ProteckLink URL

This article explains how administrators can manage URL entries in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal. It involves allowing the ProtectLink URL in your Microsoft tenant.

To prevent false-positive link blocks, add the following URLs to the trusted links list in Microsoft Defender:

Links:

• cim.security-mail.net/*
• preview.security-mail.net/*
• protectlink.security-mail.net/*
• security-mail.net/*

Steps:

1. Click the URL: https://security.microsoft.com/reportsubmission.
2. Enter your Microsoft 365 admin credentials.
3. Select the URL tab and click + Submit to Microsoft for analysis.

6. Check Should not have been blocked (false positive).

7. Submit
